My problem: Mybb captcha not showing in registration page. I would get an error saying to fill out captcha form, but no form will show in register page even with it in templates member_register
Fixed with this solution for me : I ended up adding Google reCaptcha. very simple process. Just go here > https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin , and then edit keys in general configuration > recaptcha
