When you're subscribed to threads or forums you can get PMes/emails containing an excerpt (or preview) of the message.

Is is possible to remove it? Where can I find the proper template/language file?

You can remove this section in language strings in messages.lang.php (by editing the file directly or using the ACP): email_forumsubscription, email_subscription, and pm_subscription.
