Full Version: @ in URL breaks URL code

Lets say a user would like to advertise their link and have @ in the link e.g. https://shoppy.gg/@mybb

If you input this with (no spaces):
[ url = https://shoppy.gg/@mybb ] https://shoppy.gg/@mybb [/ url]
It does not show only the link, but rather the whole mycode.

I dont know if DVZ mentions interferes with this or not, but it has been an ongoing issue. Anyone ever experience it and know a fix?

I tried that link... it doesn't exist, because supposedly the store is not operational.

That's not even the correct way to use URL unless you are using (@) for email addresses.

No wonder it doesn't work.

Link was replaced with @mybb with a user who is on my forum. I do not wish to expose his link, but rather the issue.

The @ is included in the url to view profiles, e.g. https://shoppy.gg/@Shop -> The @Name represents the shops name.

Why is it a no wonder it doesn't work? @'s are not only used for email addresses lol... You didn't seem to execute any issues with what I have asked, but rather pull statements from the sky. Yikes.

I need help, not time to read insults.

It doesn't work because you need to double check your settings for DVZ Mentions. The answer is in there.
So basically what you're saying is a user on your forum has a @ symbol in their username and the symbol in the username breaks their profile link? Or is breaks when mentioned via DVZ mentions plugin?
