Google will penalyze my site if the meta description is the same for every page?
If not, how can I set a different meta description automatically for every page?

Use Google SEO plugin or even this plugin generates meta description based on post content

I already have Google SEO isntalled but it seems that the meta description is always the same.

Google can penalize your site if the meta description will be same for every page? While duplicate meta descriptions used to mean Google saw the pages as the same or competing with each other, recent algorithm changes have given a bit more leeway on the issue and you cannot change meta description automatically.
