Hey so been getting

Authorization code mismatch. Are you accessing this function correctly? Please go back and try again.

It started yesterday I  was wondering what would be a fix for this. I didn't do any updates to mybb itself.

I am using a costume theme. (I didn't have any issues with my temples before same version no changes)

Before I get told to use search just wanted to say I did, I tried most methods there are but nothing worked.

Also have the default mybb skin and tried to login to user account with the default thane but still same issue.

Hey Ziuma,

Sorry but that did not work. I have tried this method

Like I mentioned before I didn't make changes to my forum. It was working fine before same skin same everything.

I am on mybb version: 1.8.21

The only thing I can think of is maybe a plugin making this issue somehow, but like I said before it was working normally with this same setup without issues.

I have also extracted the theme .xml and searched for this changes and making sure that like is added after every login entry.

I really need to somehow solve this issue.

If anyone could give me ideas on what could cause this and how I may solve it besides the solution stated, that would be helpful.
Be assured no plugin is the reason of this error.
It happens randomly, and its known.

You need to make sure you have included the desired line of code in every form as outlined here:
https://community.mybb.com/thread-218862...pid1309973
https://community.mybb.com/thread-218460...pid1308277

If you are having trouble identifying the forms and including the code then an alternate shortcut method is:

If even that doesn't help then I am afraid you need to bypass the check (not recommended) as it has been observed in some host that the code gets changed in every page load. There is a brief guideline on how to make the code static so that it can match:

Could you please specify the page (and its URL) you were going to visit which led to such an error?

More detail means easier to track.
Cleared catch and issue is gone.

Sorry to bother you a little bit more.

Could you please specify if the cache is the forum cache, or your browser cache, or a CDN's cache (eg. Cloudflare) or your server cache?

Both everything cached in general. Server/mybb catch, issue has been gone for a wile now.
