How can i add "location" under the user details or a user when they post

You'd need a mod for this to work. You would have to define each of those profile fields into a variable such as $sex or $location and that requires someone having to create a mod.
Thats what happened when I needed a custom info displayed on the postbit. As far as I know, there aren't any "general" hacks for this. May be asking for MyBBMods to create one for you?

Actually cory, because this is a default optional feild in myBB, all you have to do is add somthing like $fid[post2] or $post[fid2] (or was it 1
) or something like that to Admin CP > Templates > Modify/Delete > *template set expand* > Postbit templates expand > postbit
