Hello if I upgrade to 7.1 will I face any issues and will some plugins be affected by upgrading the PHP version?

Yes. Possibly. If the plugin codes are not compatible.
But it is always recommended to upgrade. Maintained plugins already have updated and released compatible versions. Try to upgrade your plugins along with. If still any warning or issue arrives then fixing the plugin file will be required ahich most of the time is not a huge deal.
