I changed the e-mail of the administrator who sent the account activation messages., so when I tried to create an account to check if there's an e-mail activation no e-mail was sent.
What your system email log says?
It display the current e-mail that I'm using but there's no e-mail verification once a user registered.

I'm using @gmail.com as Admin e-mail

I don't believe you have setup your mailing servers properly. You don't change the administrator email, but you go into mail settings in configuration and enter the PHP/SMTP mailing info (provided by your host)

Contact your hosting about this if you haven't already
I'm just a new newbie.

I would like to use @gmail.com to send as a e-mail verification once a user registered.

I followed this guide: https://docs.bitnami.com/bch/apps/mybb/c...gure-smtp/

and I'm still get an error:

"The SMTP server rejected the supplied SMTP password. Reason: 535-5.7.8 Username and Password not accepted. Learn more at 535 5.7.8 https://support.google.com/mail/?p=BadCredentials l188sm4236938ywl.29 - gsmtp"

Is there a next step?

Is there a next step?

Yes. Next step is send that error to your hosting in a support ticket. They will help you fix it Smile
