I tried searching for an answer but I get a bazillion results.

I had installed a script earlier this year, but it doesn't seem to work:
* author        : Ad Bakker
* plugin        : newMemScr

I'm supposed to get an email when a new member submits their first posting but I don't. So I'd like to remove it.

My question is about removing a plugin. Do I just remove the files for the plugin and that's it?

Uninstall the plugin then delete the files, and that is it
