Currently, I run my sql server across the country, which causes a high latency. If mybb could utilize memcached more, it would speed my page up a lot. A suggestion would be to put sessions into memcached, so every page loads a bit faster.

You could always not run your database on the other side of the country, that would greatly assist matters.
