Why not make an option that disables IP-TRACKING
That means NO IP-addresses in database, etc
Reasons:
Maybe someone wants to make a forum that respects privacy.
This also helps if the forum gets hacked, people don't get their hands on the IP.

Why not have an option which plays Russian drum and bass in the background?
If you're going to say "I think you should give up your spare time to code this feature that I want", the least you can do is spend 10 minutes explaining why.
at-least you should have mentioned 'disable' in thread title.
