I thinking to upgrade my hosting to PHP 7.4. Is MyBB 1.8 compitable with PHP 7.4?

If not, can you tell me last version compitable with MyBB?

7.3
7.2
7.1 etc
7.3 is supported, I don't believe a release has addressed any potential 7.4 compatibility issue as of yet.
I use PHP 7.4 for my test forum, so far so good, no breaks found.

That doesn't mean that it may not have bugs, better use a supported PHP version ie 7.3
You should also be careful with plugins that you are installing.
Thank you so much!

I'll upgrade my PHP to version 7.3.

Yes, you're right. Something might be broken, especially plugins. So I've said "so far so good". Big Grin

From following documents on PHP 7.4 migration, although I can't be sure, nothing would affect MyBB core:
