MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
2002 - php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known
Query:
[READ] Unable to connect to MySQL server



All I did was remove an old domain from my host that is no longer in use and now this is happening at my forum: https://universalgaming.net

The domain I removed was https://universalgaming.club, which was the domain used to initially make the board. Everything on my server is stored in the domain folder for .net and so I figured removing the .club domain from my host wouldn't do anything. Alas, here I am, and I have no clue what to do.

Sounds like you'll have to go to your hosting support team for this.
The error is essentially saying MyBB can't make the connection to the database.
Verify the connection info in inc/config.php is correct.

The config file was directing to my older domain (surprised it worked still considering the domain expired months ago). Thank you!
