The theme is likely set to Font Awesome 4, and you're trying a Font Awesome 5 icon.

The distribution pkg directory has a fokder called "Upload" and that needa to be thought of as your forum root directory and the containing files and folders in "Upload need to be uploaded to the correct location so that the font awesome 4.7 library can be found and loaded example Upload/themes/indigo think of it as forum/themes/indigo remember if correcrt directory structure as contained in dist pkg is uploaded correctly your missing icon issue will cease to be a problem. oh, also note indigo theme is not updated for 1.8.22 but I will try to get around to it at some point.
