What are these tags and how do I remove them? because these tags show up when testing meta descriptions on iFramely

The meta description shows up like this, with those start and end tags.
<!-- start: showthread_description --> this is a description example<!-- end: showthread_description -->

they are template starting & template ending guides - which are useful for debugging purpose.

there is a setting in forum admin panel which toggles those tags
[Server and Optimization Settings --> Output template start/end comments]
