forum admin panel >> Templates & Style >> themes
>> [your forum's active theme] >> scroll down for edit theme properties --> editor style
>> select a different style & save theme properties

check if the referred issue gets fixed with above change ..

Check your javascript folder, are you js updated to latest MyBB ?
Next checkout if your theme is updated to latest MyBB ? If it is updated, then check if the same error is present on default MyBB theme on your website.

The answer to above questions will lead you to the solution.
