Hello everyone!
I am looking for plugin, where user can select their group at the time of registration, and I want to restrict user only to access the forum assigned to group 1. and the same with other groups. 

• Usergroup 1 can access only Forumcategory 1
  
• Usergroup 2 can access only Forumcategory 2
  
• and so on. 
  

But main thing I want user can select the group at the time of registration.

You can simply grant or revoke permissions for forums and categories.
ACP -> Forums & Posts
Choose your forum and hit the tab "Permissions" to set View for a specific group.

I don't know from mind on how to select a group on registration page.

basically after registration, user should apply to join a group - this method is generally followed.

Yes, I was thinking of that plugin only, but then I realized it is not released for 1.8. If there is any other plugin which is  compatible with newest version?

^ AFAIK, such plugin is not readily available for the recent versions of MyBB
