Good Day,

I have a newly installed version of MyBB V1.8.22 with file merge from phpBB. My members and I as admin can not log out of the forum at all. I have tried this fix to no avail.

I am using the default template at this stage. I tried disabling the discord plugin that is running but this did not solve the problem either.

Any ideas what could be causing the logout to not work?

This has worked for about 2 minutes and now I have the same problem with log out not working. I can log in and out of the ACP but on the forum itself the log out is not working as intended. Clicking the logout button only returns to the /index.php page

provide forum url & a test user account so that someone can check the issue ..

Details for testing are as follows

testvam.zavaf.org
Username: test
Password: P@ssword

Apologies edited to display correct url.

change cookie domain to testvam.zavaf.org [no dot at beginning] first in inc/settings.php file
& later at Site Details page of Configuration section in forum admin panel

clear your browser cookies by using link on this page
close your browser . reopen it and try login & logout

I have done as suggested, edited the cookie domain first and then the configuration in the admin panel, cleared the cookies with the link as well as in the browser settings tab and it is unfortunately back to not working.

I could not trace the exact cause which is affecting cookies & logout
probably there is a weird cache from web server which affects MyBB cookies ..

I am unsure of what was done but the issue has been resolved.
