What ist the SMTP User?
What do I have to enter?
SMTP user --> email ID used for sending emails
The problem is the emails do not arrive.
check entries at System Mail Log of tools & maintenance section in forum admin panel
This is the error message: The SMTP server rejected the supplied SMTP password. Reason: 535 5.7.8 Error: authentication failed: authentication failure
are you sure that password is correct ?
are you using your regular gmail account for SMTP ?
not sure if Google is still allowing non-paid mail accounts for SMTP
doesn't your webhost provide email service with the hosting ?
