I think it could be interesting to have a new setting optionscode: 'null' which allow to add just a separator in plugin settings, with a title and an optional description.

It could be usefull for plugins with a lot of settings, to create categories, or to add an explanation block when several settings work together.

Sounds like the intention is to have sub-groups within setting groups basically? If so, I can certainly see that being useful but not sure if a "null" options code would be the best way to go about it.

Yes, separator might be better But all developments need a null somewhere
