I have an SMF 2.0.17 forum and I wanted to merge it with MyBB. I downloaded the .zip file and uploaded in the directory where MyBB forum is isntalled. I run the merge process and got this error: 
SQL Error:1054 - Unknown column 'aim' in 'field list'

Above that, I have this message:
Users
1,000 users are importing right now. There are 3,974 users left to import and 4 pages left.

Kindly tell me what I should do?

Can you please guide me how to do this? I am not an expert. I just know how to install the forum and how to manage member groups, permissions, moderation and all that stuff. 

Should I download the "Zip Archive Link" and then upload it on my forum's directory. And then run the mysite.com/forum/merge is this right?

^ yes, download zip archive, upload its contents for merge folder by replacing earlier contents
and try the conversion process again by executing the merge system
