First off, i assume the only way to get to the admin pannel is to type in the URL www.mysite.com/forum/admin
because i cannot find any link to it when logged in.

So when i try and login, i enter me user name and my password into the box which looks like this


when i click "login" the screen reloads back at the same login box with both fields empty.

Any help would be great, thanks

Did you create an admin account during the installation? If you did, check your email that you used to create your account and see if you get messages stating that you have failed log-in attempts.

This may be because you're using the wrong password, so if you have phpmyadmin, you might want to do this:

Open phpMyAdmin and find your username and replace the password field with this:

098f6bcd4621d373cade4e832627b4f6

You can now login with the password test, which you can then reset it.

I've fixed the problem now. I messed up when uploading the forum so something went wrong there. Thanks for the help anyway.
