I have a site up and going, not running the current version, I have a number of different sites up, all except mybb have the convenience of the ability to simply push a button and have all the task of updating the system to the current version. a plugin or modification of the mybb application would be awesome to have developed


As a further note, I a have seen multiple post of people have issues updating

running Ubuntu 18.04
mybb: 1.8.15
php: 7.2.24-0Ubuntu0.18.04.3
MySQLi 5.7.29

updating forum version involves updating templates of themes.
in many cases, that cannot be done automatically & needs manual updating.

if comfortable in paying, you may hire someone experienced to update forum
