My forum has suddenly changed to all text display.

Same in Admin, the graphical interface seems to have reverted to text only.

I recently upgraded to 1.8.21, I am not sure if the two are related.

Any help is appreciated.

From your broken links reference:

I had to change http:// to https://

That fixed the middle part of the forum display, but did not fix the top or bottom.

I could not find another place to edit the URL so maybe i can get some guidance here.

your current theme needs updating codes
it would be better to install a new theme & switch to it.

It's quite simple
Change it to a new theme or create a new theme and that should fix it for you.
