Can we somehow fetch polls from a certain forum on Portal as News/Announcements are taken on Portal from a forum? Or will it require a separate poll system for portal? OK, I make it a mod reques so that it doesn't get thrown out of this forum

Um, you can display the info for it by simply getting it from the DB, but letting people vote on them will require the all the code needed to do so.

Hmmm...would you be kind enough to think of developing it whenever you get free time?
