If any member mention an username preceded by@ then the user mentioned will be notified through the MyAlerts system just like the ThankyouLike system.

Any useful plugin of such sort?

please search for mention at the Extend section

This plugin isn't working. I tried to install it in my localhost. It installs fine. But when I tried to login as a member or even try to see the homepage of mybb forum this shows up.

What version of PHP are you running? I know DVZ Mentions states that it requires PHP 7 or higher.

Anyway installed the Mention me plugin. Its working fine.

DVZ Mention doesn't work on my site in MyBB 1.8.22, but I found an alternative plugin Automention
