I downloaded a backup of my forum that was located on one domain and then had my host restore this backup onto a new domain. There seems to be a conflation of the forum's old domain and the new one. The forum's new domain (ex. www.newdomain.com) keeps redirecting to the old domain (www.olddomain.com) whenever certain links are clicked (login, admin control panel, member list, search, portal, etc). I am not able to login to the ACP either. It's like there are two copies of the forum right now. Additionally, when I click on a forum post on the new domain I get the following error:

The requested URL was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Start with the obvious: Do the files actually exist? If they do, check the permissions on the files.

board url & cookie settings should be correctly set first in ./inc/settings.php
file & then at Site Details page of Configuration section in forum admin panel.
