Whenever I am trying to check the version of mybb in ACP, to see whether it is up to date or not... Its showing 503 error. Is there any problem going on with mybb servers?

MyBB 1.8.22 and prior versions do have some glitches of checking version updates at present time. But the page showing a 503 error seems more like problems with your copy or hosting.

Could you please check in PHP logs / HTTP server logs for potential related information?
