This happends when I try to activate plugin for the first time. How can I fix this?

note: MyBB 1.8.x includes jQuery script. there is no need to add minified jQuery script if you try above methods

I don't know what other bugs the old plugin might have beacause last update was in 2015

^ actually most of those errors are related to strict mode of database server.

your error suggests that strict mode is not set for your database.
so suggestion is to try using earlier version.

The older one works, but I'm a bit afraid about that reigstration issues autor mentioned

Sorry to quote you, But i guess it is probably this, Have removed strict mode on my forums and it is working good.
