If you have uploaded the image in root folder (/public_html/) then go the respective theme and change the path for the logo else upload the logo to /public_html/images it will ask you for overwrite if the logo of yours have the same name of MyBB's.
Hi, I have uploaded my PNG logo on htdocs (infinity free) using File Zilla.
The name of the PNG is Logo-005
Could someone give me step by step instructions what to do?

I'd just modify the Board Logo setting in Theme Properties to point at the new file. i.e. - if "Logo-005.png" is located in " /public_html/images", would look like this:
images/Logo-005.png

Go to Templates and in that click on the theme name. You will be taken to page with theme settings and in the bottom look for the path of the logo and change it to the newly uploaded Logo
Did you try to change it from header templates?
