This particular feature under Settings > Posting section is not working for me, is there anything else than setting the time in minutes I should do to make it work?



I've tested in a non-admin account and It just keeps adding new posts.

Is there any forum/usergroup setting that overrides the global one?

There are another two options following Post Merge Time in Board Settings > Posting:

• Merge Forums to Ignore
  
• Merge User Groups to Ignore
  

Will you still experience such problem after correctly setting them?

Thank you, didn't see them. Apparently I was ignoring them all! It's working now.
