First of all, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section, I didn't know where else to post this thread.

So I want to create a series of MyBB themes but I fear that my efforts will go to vain if MyBB 1.9 is released in the near future. For that reason I would appreciate clarity on approximately when MyBB 1.9 will be released.

I don't mean to put any pressure on the development team, MyBB is amazing with constant updates - which I really appreciate but as a theme developer clarity would be appreciated.
