Can someone explain to me why every editpost window contains a link 'change user' right next to the username ?
Is there a simple method to cancel this option in every editpost ?

it was supposed to be useful to login as another user before starting / replying a thread.
you can remove {$loginbox} from the newthread , newreply & editpost templates.

To be honest I can not imagine a case in which it would be useful.
In my experience in all kinds of fora I don't think I ever came across any instance in which a user made use of this option.
Yes, I already found that method to remove the option, but that's not a very 'administrator-friendly' method. It apparently isn't built in in the administrator interface.
Where can I best suggest to remove this option 'tout court' ?
