The newpoint settings and config menu isnt appearing in my admin panel...
I tried doing admin/index.php?module=newpoints but it still didnt work
can anyone help me

Have you installed the plugin?

admin permissions >>
click on admin name >>
newpoints permissions
if you get
error message that
super administrator cannot be modified then
temporarily remove that admin ID from
super admins in
inc/config.php file
$config['super_admins'] = '1';

no like it doesnt even show up in the admin panel
there isnt a newpoints section on the top part of the ap
^have you checked admin permissions page as suggested above ?
also make sure that the plugin files are correctly uploaded for /admin/modules folder
