Im working on a theme and I wanted to add "This was made by Echo" 

And I really cant figure it out so can anyone help me out?

check for powered by MyBB notice in the footer template of the theme.
there you should be able to add required content with a similar style.

I meant the admin panel

It's in admin/inc/class_page.php
