Say i'm using a theme found on mybb extend then the theme is updated by the author. If i want to update i should delete the old version then import the new version? I should not import the new version until i have removed the old version. Is that correct?
no need of uninstalling earlier version. while installing the updated version,
you can give a new name for the theme & install. with this method you can
add the plugins variables & add back any changes you might have done ...

lets say if i did not make any changes to the theme..
its just best to delete the old version then import new version?
