Anyone know if it's possible to make something like this? If so, would someone be kind enough to either (1) make a mod for it or (2) point me in the direction needed to make a mod like this?

I think that it would be a very large mod and nobody would want to start on it before MyBB Gold is released.

I was hoping to hack the portal to make something similar, but I don't know how to pull from a specific forum.
Well, I took a look at the tutorial mod. It's full of bugs and doesn't seem like anyone is willing to fix it until the release of 1.0, so... eh, whatever.
I've modded the portal to serve my needs as an Article Management System. The "Latest Threads" pulls from the specific forum. It looks great. However, I'm stuck now.
I'm trying to set up something similar to this:

They have a "preview" of the article with a link to "Read More". I'd like to do that as it makes my system look less "busy". I'd rather people be able to read the first 1,000 characters or so and decide whether they wish to read further.
I hope this all makes sense.
Any ideas any of you kind folks can lend?
Nice done... But the Article List on the left is a bit to large in my opinion.
