Say I collapse a category on mybb and goto a forum but after i hit back the category is still expanded not collapsed
But if i refresh the page it'll be collapsed

in general, cached page is served when we use browser's back button.
so it is expected behavior. [depends on cookies & cache of the browser.]

just wondering is it possible to avoid this?

may be disable browser cache !
