One of my users has private messaged me, but when I try to reply it says he has pms disabled. I assume he was able to send while set not to receive.
Shouldn't admins be able to private message their users regardless of settings?
Suggestion, if a user has 'receive private messages from other users' turned off, why should they be allowed to send them? They should be forced to activate private messaging before they can send one. Or maybe auto notify them that when they post that message it will automatically activate private messaging. At that point they can choose to abort, or send the message and receive a reply.
It seems to me being able to send while blocking replies is a really good spam tool. Or flaming tool. Or just a way to get really nasty without consequences.
