Hello,

I am running the ShoutBox (2.2-RC) by MusicalMidget on my website here: www.sammes.co.uk/index2.htm
I keep getting quite regular spammed entries on it and I was enquiring as to whether there was the ability to specify banned word/phrase entries on this ShoutBox.
If not, can one be recommended that allows me to administer as such?

if you are using recent version of MyBB then I'd suggest to use another shoutbox [eg. dvz shoutbox]

Thanks for the reply, I am running the latest version of MyBB, but it would appear that DVZ Shoutbox also does not contain the ability to ban specific words/phrases which is what I am looking for. I need better security than just a "post what you want" type ShoutBox

^ word filters [banned words for the forum posting] will not appear in dvz shoutbox
