Hey there,

I'd like to ask for some help since I don't know what is going on, I use myBB for long time and this never happened me before.


My forum suddenly stopped working and had random changes & bugs, and nothing was CHANGED, it was from one day to another it suddenly bugged itself without even touching it.


What I'm refering to?

1. Profiles pictures not loading


2. chatbox "loading..."

3. Editor changed

is not giving options to bold/colors & such.


and other functions that stopped working.

What should I do?

Its related to js as it seems like jQuery library is failing to load.
Try replacing / reupload your jquery library file (jquery.js). It looks corrupted to me.

I found the file jquery.js , just to make sure, this is the right one?

Inside the folder 'jscripts' right?

Should I download myBB again and copy that same file? i'm right?

I just did that, and the error is still happening, needs to do anything else?

Your problem is resolved now.
Try hard refresh (Ctrl + F5) several times or manually clear your browser cache.
