Is it possible to put something in the settings / codes of the forum in such a way that the quality of images is not lost when switching to displays such as Retina or the platform does not yet have such an opportunity?
Is it possible to reconfigure something so that the forum is displayed without losing image quality in general?

The avatars may loose some quality if their overall size has to be limited or the dimensions. I would try and increase those values which you can do in your ACP settings (can’t check the exact category right now)
