I moved to MYBB a few days ago from Phpbb.

I have a couple of issues, there doesn't seem to be a notification, so none of my members know when they get one, and there is no quote button on posts.

Am I missing something here? I can't find anything in the settings for those two issues.

Notifications are not a default function of MyBB, except email notifications.
However, you could use a plugin. Many people use MyAlerts.

Sadly I can not check the quote button due to you not providing a test account. What I can see is a reply button.
