Hello!
My forum had version 1.6.9 with PHP 5.6.40. From the hosting they updated PHP to version 7.3.6 and I got an error message in the admin panel:
Warning [2] Creating default object from empty value - Line: 349 - File: admin/index.php PHP 5.6.40 (Linux)
I asked the hosting to return PHP to 5.6.40 to fix the problem and updated MyBB to version 1.6.10 for a test run, which was a success!
Then, I decided to update to 1.8.24 leaving the forum in perfect condition.
I called the hosting to return PHP to 7.3.6 and this error message appears:
I'm very confused, I thought the problem was because 1.6.9 did not support PHP 7.3, but I did an additional test installation with that version and it works fine.
