Hello community,
we have a problem and need your help.
For info:
When new users log in / register, not all of them choose an avatar. Normally the default avatar should then simply appear.
We have a system that gives all new users the status "I'm new". So we activate their account and change the status from member to "I'm new". After a certain number of threads, the user gets a new status and can now be a permanent member.
But here we have the problem that an error message appears when users who have not selected a personal avatar change their status:
"The URL you entered for your avatar does not appear to be valid. Please ensure you enter a valid URL."
If I then look at the link that shows the way to the default avatar, the following link is there:
https://example.com//68747470733a2f2f746...722e706e67
If I delete this and insert our link https://xxxx.net/forum/images/default_avatar.png, the error message also appears ....
No matter which address I enter, the same error message always appears.
The link is correctly specified in the ACP, configuration of the profile.
I have no idea what to do to stop getting this error message
THX in advance for your help!
