What do I enter for host and channel?

I read the FAQ in PJIRC website and I still don't quite understand.

You have to register a channel at an irc network or you could connect to an existing one if you like.

The host is the server where your chat is registered and the channel is the name of your chat.

For example, here is the data to connect to the mybb chat:

Host: irc.msgplus.net
Channel: #mybb

okay, so i got my channel:

#NintendoExtreme

where do i put this?

also, the only other thing i have which i don't know where it goes is

uhhh...help?
