Do you think it'll be possible for someone to create a bot for MyBB which posts something like the latest news from the BBC (via a RSS feed) or something? Then in the AdminCP you can select what RSS feed and room the bot posts this in??

Someone did it for vBulletin a loooonnnnggg time ago but I haven't been able to find it to try and translate it to MyBB.

That's not a bad idea. But kinda complex as each feed would be different. So the user would have to look at the RSS feed for the right tags (title, autor, content) etc and then make a template based on that information...

I'll look around and see if I can find the hack, and see if there is anyway of porting it over.

Found the vBulletin modification... it took be a while to find it, but hey I found it.
