Oke guys,

I think it's better if the old design returns, and that the mods.mybb.com list comes back, that was the far away from the best website that you guys had.

I know there are a couple of forums and working good, but since you have updated MyBB to the latest versions all drama started, there is just 1 theme that is working and the rest of the themes are a complete disaster.
Most of the plugins are outdated, and they are still on the mod list, maybe remove them?

I know MyBB is losing much viewers etc, forums ain't important anymore, but if you want to make a good start for MyBB again, then please recover all the bad things on the website... where did the 2.0 project go? is it Gone?

This is why people left MyBB, fix your website and extensions, it's not meant to be to get you guys angry but just a friendly reminder on how to bring MyBB back as it was before.

I always loved the moments on MyBB and now I see a community that is completely dying and I hope the flowers of Mybb will grow soon again so old members will return, same for the MyBB design the grey one, it doesn't fit your layout actually.

I hope you guys will do something with the points I made to you, today!

Most plugins are outdated? I know many themes haven't been updated for a while but I barely see posts about outdated plugins. Some older plugins have mostly minor issues with newer PHP versions but that's probably not what you are talking about.
I don't know what restoring the old sites would achieve, people would be submitting the same plugins and themes regardless of what version of the website we had. If there's issues with plugins and themes, it's not really something we can do much about unless we take ownership of everyone else's plugins and themes, and isn't something we can "fix" on the website. You seem to be conflating the content people upload to the website with the website itself.

Remove them ?  NO, just no.

Most old "mods" are what gives site owners idea, and shows the capability of MyBB script, most "new mods" were/are inspired from "outdated" mods,  they were fixed/updated/added features when a MOD DEVELOPER comes across ones that "doesn't work", etc.

Whats "outdated" for you, might be "just what" meets someone else needs/wants, because they are using the version of MyBB that THEY prefer and the MOD they are searching for might just be that "outdated mod" .

Leave the "outdated" mods alone
