Full Version: MyBB has experienced an internal error and cannot continue.

so i was installing myalerts and when i installed it i didnt even activate it and this error showed up. i saw another post and realised that this is a problem of php version. any solutions?

ive read the followups of that thread before. im just interested how to do the fresh install thing like the guy did could you help with that?

Then why did you post the same generic error?  How do you know you need a fresh install?  What's your board URL or is it local?  What's your environment - php version, database, etc?

Either way, wouldn't commit to anything without additional information.
followup - the error was focused towards php version. turns out my hosting had an error and even when i updated php version it wasnt updated. i contacted support and they fixed the error. after this i changed the php error and things went back to normal

How did you change the php error?
