Hello Comrades,

I'd like to set the editor in source mode by default, meaning, when new users register to the forum, they get this setting by default. Right now is not set by default, and I have to change the setting manually for the users. You see, end users get confused with the editor mode in "non-source" mode, especially when replying to posts.

I read https://community.mybb.com/thread-165583.html and tried the solutions there, but with no avail.

I'm currently running 1.8.22 (I understand there's an updated version)
